Morning quiet time
Morning quiet time.I really cherish my calm and quiet time in a morning, after I’ve got up, put the coffee on and after the cats are fed, but before the kids are up.I usually do a mindfulness practice, sometimes I might also do a bit of yoga or stretching, or I might just sit and reflect with my coffee.It’s a little oasis of time to focus and collect myself for the day before the whirlwind of the day starts.It’s a very small habit I added to my routine a long time ago, but it makes a big difference to the day.Where could you add a few minutes of quiet mindfulness…
TLC
A bit of TLC…I always thought TLC was “tender loving care”. A bit of TLC is definitely a good thing – we need to show kindness to ourselves and look after ourselves, particularly when things are difficult. Taking time to de-stress and do some active relaxation increases our wellbeing, whether that’s time dedicated mindfulness practice or just taking a bath.
