    I have had a lovely couple of weeks off work, away from social media and totally unplugged.  We’ve recently moved, to a house which is a bit of a ‘project’, so it was also great to get away from the endless to-do list of all the things that go along with moving and renovating. I went with the best intentions to leave work at work, and leave the to-do list undone, knowing that it will all still be there when I got back.     Stress is sneaky

    I went for a run today. Those that know me or follow my posts, you might not think that is anything out of the ordinary, as I would usually run 3 or 4 times per week. However, the run I did today was the first time I had been out for just over two weeks, and before that I have only run a couple of times in the last few months.     What went well today?

    Take a moment to be mindful and think about what went well today. When we think about our day it’s easy to jump to the things that went badly or less well. Maybe you ate all the things you said you would avoid, maybe you didn’t do your workout, maybe you didn’t get out for a walk, or you didn’t manage to tick off all the things on your to-do list.
